Oh No They Didn’t: Black Church burnt in Ohio, Man Charged with Hate Crime
Ronald Pudder has finally been brought a two-count indictment against him after several months, on federal hate crime charges for arson and damaging a church based on bias against a predominately black church.
First Azusa Apostolic Faith is the only black church in Conneaut, Ohio, located in the northeast part of the state. The accused arson was set on May 20th, where the entrance to the church was damaged but no one was hurt. Pudder was arrested at the scene.
FBI head Frank Figliuzzi was quoted as saying about the incident “At a time when the nation is debating the location of a place of worship and people are talking about burning sacred books, we must all understand that when rhetoric turns to hate and hate turns to violence we are all harmed.”
Well said, Frank. It’s sad that we still have sick individuals out here that want to destroy anyone’s place of worship in this free country. Comment on your thoughts…
