‘Runaway’ Premieres feat. Kanye West & Selita EBanks
Kanye West’s film, Runaway, has finally premiered. I won’t share what I think of the video just yet, I am very interested in finding out what you think of it though.
The short film did feel quite long to me despite the fact it was only 34 minutes, and includes Selita Ebanks – a Victoria Secret model potraying the “Phoenix”, in which the video is all about. She falls to earth and falls in love with the one who rescues her.
The video includes an introduction by Nicki Minaj, music such as “Devil in a New Dress,” “All of the Lights”, “Lost in the World,” “Power,” and then of course, the title track… all from the album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

I loved every bit of it. It reminds me of when i first saw Idlewild, there’s interesting costuming and visual effects.
The theory about “stone” annoyed me a little bit but this is a short film, perhaps it was meant to have me fill in the blanks.
