Gucci Mane sees jail once again
Seems like there was a revolving door installed at the courthouse recently just to accommodate the various rappers coming in and going out of jail. And, Gucci Mane is the newest to be caught up! According to AccessAtlanta,
This time he is charged with driving on the wrong side of the road, running a red light or stop sign, damage to government property, obstruction, no license, no proof of insurance and other traffic charges, according to APD spokesman Curtis Davenport.
Officers who arrested Mane, who is also known as Radric Davis, Tuesday had to use pepper spray to subdue him after he wouldn’t stop fighting with an unnamed person. He was taken first to Grady Memorial Hospital to be checked before being transported to the Fulton County Jail.
The incident happened around 11:30 a.m., police said.
An off-duty police officer saw a white Hummer driving recklessly while traveling south on Northside Drive. Additional police units were notified — and officers eventually found the Hummer parked at a business in the 1100 block of Northside Drive, police said.
Besides finding the Hummer, they saw two people in a verbal dispute, police said.
Officers tried to break up the fight, but Mane hit the other person, who police did not name. Police then used pepper spray to subdue him.
Mane’s arrest comes just a few months after he was he was released from the Fulton County Jail for violating his parole. Records show he has been in the Fulton County Jail at least five times since 2005 on drug, aggravated assault or aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges. Read more here.
What can I say about this? Well, I was not surprised at when I first ran across this story! Other than that, hope he get’s his self together…but I doubt anything will change.
