Nicole Richie Finally Marries her babies Daddy, Joel Madden- What took so long?

I’m happy when I see a woman who decides to marry instead of shack up for years and years with their baby daddy. It took 4 years and two children for them to make things official but I guess better late than never! R&B Singer Lionel Richie hosted his daughter, Nicole Richie’s wedding to Good Charlotte Band mate Joel Madden Saturday (12-11-10) at his estate Los Angeles estate, and all I can say is Thank God… I hope it lasts!

Some details of the ceremony include wedding rings by Jeweler Neil Lane, the wedding dress by Marchesa, and oddly somehow an elephant was thrown into the mix- as sources saw one being led onto the property while everything was being prepared for the big day. I don’t know what’s the deal with the ‘trained’ wild animal, unless they are big circus fanatics?

Celeb guests included one of my favorite pop gals, Gwen Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale.

Anyways, I wish em much luck , They will need it.
