Sad Sad news today as two african american legends have died.  First was news of Boxing Champ Joe Frazier and now word that legendary rapper Heavy D has died at the young age of 44.

Dwight Arrington Myers who was affectionately known as Heavy D was reportly rushed to a hospital in Los Angeles early this afternoon and later pronounced at 1pm.  He was still concious and talking when emergency personel responded to the 911 call at his home this morning… All this according to TMZ.

This will be an ongoing investigation of course, details are still sketchy.

I loved Heavy D for his music, personality, and mostly his positivity that he brought to Rap music.  He will surely be missed by all those in the music industry and especially his family, friends, and fans.
