Whitney Houston, Songtress Dead At 48
RIH Whitney Houston.
Although confirmed by her publicist Kristian Foster that the famous R&B singer passed away today, January 11, 2012 – we have yet to find out how and exactly where. Details are still sketchy.
What we do know is that we fans have lost a beautiful and influential voice in music…. And she will be very missed by family, friends, the entertainment industry, and many others.
For over a decade she wowed us with her beautiful voice, topping the R&B charts through the 80′s well into the 1990′s. “Saving all my love for You” was the song to bring her first grammy of many. She’s also well known for her controversial marriage to singer Bobby Brown, as well as acting in movies “Waiting to Exhale”, “The Preacher’s Wife” and “The BodyGuard. “
Raised in the church, and daughter of gospel singer Cissy Houston, the talent she was blessed with prospered at an early age. Yet, towards the end of her life she was sadly getting to be more known for rumors of drug abuse.
Whitney was definitely one of my favorite singers. My heart breaks that she is gone so soon. RIP.
