Well, In Brandy’s words via the BarkBiteBlog:

Um, honestly, we haven’t really talked about it since we stopped promoting “It All Belongs to Me.” I just honestly think Monica and I are in different places in our music. And my vibe is a little bit different this time around so I don’t know. I kind of wanna do my own thing. I definitely feel like the fans would want a tour from us, but I don’t know, I just feel like I’m being pulled in a different direction. I’m definitely still open to it, but right now I’m looking in a different way right now for me.

I don’t get it.  I thought these two were always in a different place when it came to their music.  And sorry but I for one never ever believed that buddy-buddy relationship between the two of them was perfect and real in the first place, and I just had a gut feeling this hook up was not going to last long. In my eyes, Brandy is the bigger star (television, music, movies & endorsements) and has made wonderful music except for the last few years so perhaps it is best that the two of them do their own thing in order not to step on each others toes.   And Monica, oh I love me some Monica – her spirit, her love for her family, her dedication, and her talent will never be denied – she IS a BEAST… But honestly the music she currently has been putting out hasn’t been up to par either.

That single these two had together – “It All Belongs To Me” – was just a big ol’ flop and both should take responsibility of that because it’s obvious that they were both riding each others coat tails to jump start their careers… and now that Monica’s music isn’t doing too well, Brandy wants to jump off.

Now, tell me I’m wrong.
