All wasn’t an epic fail at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards last night. Squeezed in the program between Nicki Minaj‘s Twerk fest/Lap dance for rapper Lil Wayne, Miquel‘s impromptu WWE tryout performance, and Justin Bieber being booed while accepting an award (who would have thought that?), there were some real artists being recognized during the program. Talk about hilarity…

R&B Singer Miguel performed his new song “Thrill” at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards that aired last night, and decided to stage dive into the fan pit which was near the front of the arena. That bright idea went horribly wrong, check out the photo above.

And just in case you’re wondering, Yes, Miguel got up and brushed the mistake off, continuing to sing as if nothing ever happened.  As for one of the girls that were hit, they were reported as to having a concussion.  It could have been worse, just watch the clip after the break.  Read the rest of this entry

The summer action movie fiasco is just around the corner, and first up giving a sneek peek is a new film coming out on June 28th called “White House Down.”  It stars Django actor Jamie Foxx as the President of the United States, and Canning Tatum as a cop that jumps into protective mode after DC is attacked by paramilitary invaders.  James Woods and Maggie Gyenhaal also co-star in the movie.

Well… I, like some of you out there may have been listening to reruns of the Michael Baisden show all week long. Tomorrow is the last day you will hear anything of this man on the radio, until God know’s when. If your not up with checking the social media sites then you probably haven’t even heard why.

One third of the 90′s music sensation TLC will soon be having her own reality show on the cable network, ironically TLC, early next year.  T-Boz,  mother of one and ex-wife of rapper Mack 10 who has battled with Sickle Cell Anemia all of her life as well as a life threatening brain tumor a few years ago, will surely benefit from this new venture as she filed for bankruptcy just recently, in 2011.

According to TMZ:

We’re told the show will focus on the 42-year-old single mom as she tries to  re-launch her music career … after recovering from the life-threatening brain  tumor she was diagnosed with in 2006.

The brain tumor was so bad, once  it was removed, T-Boz had to relearn how to walk and talk.

We’re told,  the show will star her daughter, brother, cousins and friends … and is currently filming in Atlanta.

If your a fan of the popular reality shows on cable television nowadays, I’m sure you will be up for a treat for this one: Season one of Girlfriend Confidential: LA is set to begin with it’s season premiere on September 3rd on the Oxygen network at 11:00PM – 12:00AM ET/PT (after the Bad Girls Club).

You will see at least one familiar face on the show as it focuses on model and past winner of America’s Next Top Model Eva Marcille and three of her very close friends named Denyce, Kelly and Nikki.  Cameras follow the four girlfriends around as they tackle love, relationships and celebrity life all within the backdrop of an entertainment industry.

I really didn’t get a feel of a lot of Drama between these young ladies when I watched their clips, at least not as much as what you would see on a few other reality shows, buttttt…….. I believe that’s because they are all best friends – and that’s a GOOD THING.  Nonetheless women can still be catty from time to time so perhaps all we have to do is sit back and wait.  Ya think?
