Well… I, like some of you out there may have been listening to reruns of the Michael Baisden show all week long. As I’m sure all you guys may have heard and seen, October 2012 Superstorm and Hurricane Sandy gave the east coast of the United States a brutal beating yesterday. Prayers and well wishes go out to all those who were somehow affected by the storm from NoirGossip.com.  According to CNN, I’ve heard that atleast 16 people were killed and there are over 7 million without electricity right now. Sandy was definitely an epic storm that will not easily be forgotten by Americans.

You know what, I thought this particular rapper was FAR better than this… You never know IF and WHEN you will get pulled over and caught up by the police as a celebrity, so why take that chance?

Nelly is probably counting his lucky stars right now after his tour bus was pulled over by Border Patrol Police in Sierra Blanca, Texas last night.

According to TMZ, during the search of the tour bus, 10+ pounds of marajuina, some heroin (36 baggies/.64 ounces), and a loaded .45 pistol was discovered after a police dog first gave the alert of possible drugs.

According to law enforcement sources, one of the passengers — a guy named Brian Keith Jones — admitted the drugs and the gun were his. He was subsequently placed under arrest.

Nelly and the remaining five were let go. Calls to Nelly’s reps were not returned.

She had a voice, obviously, but they packaged her into this whole whatever, but she was really just this humble, sweet girl. Me and Lenny [Kravitz], we were talking about her yesterday, and it’s more of an example to me or the rest of us to keep it together. I was listening to her song “I Look to You.” It’s prophetic. Maybe I’m speaking out of line. Maybe she thought she could have one. And then the next thing you know, her body was betraying her. She didn’t know that her body was aging quickly. In case you haven’t been following the latest in political news, a video has surfaced via writer David Corn and Mother Jones Magazine, of Republican  Presidential candidate Mitt Romney demeaning basically half of the country that he should be wanting to win support from.

While at a fundrasier for his campaign, Romney was taped stating that 47% of our voters today are supporters of President Barack Obama because they are americans that “… are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility  to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to  housing, to you-name-it.”

It doesn’t end there.  Mitt had the balls to admit he doesn’t care about half of America, mentioning that  ”My job is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.”  But how can he ask to work for a country when its evident that he doesn’t even respect half of it’s citizens??

And since it was already stated in a recent poll [read here] that basically 0% of black americans are currently supporting Romney, you already know who he was partly referring to.

So who else was Romney referring to??  Perhaps it’s the disabled veterans who depend on the VA for their healthcare, or perhaps the retirees who depend on medicare and social security to live on.  Perhaps we can add all college students who have borrowed money from the govenment to help support their education.  And of course all of the hard working employed americans that actually do pay their federal, state and local taxes but then get some money back after deductions because they earn so little money.

Romney defended his remarks quickly in a press conference soon after the video surfaced, mentioning that he now admits that what he said was atleast “not elegantly stated.”

Well it seems that Toya Wright’s husband Memphitz can only take so much of the hinting around from ex-girlfriend and singer K. Michelle about him being an abuser, as he has now decided to sue the producers of “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” for defamation of character.

In a statement that was released today with the lawsuit, he said:

“My family and I have suffered tremendously while VH-1, Monami Ent., and the  other companies provided a worldwide platform for K. Michelle to repeatedly  assassinate my character. The filing of this suit is to compensate for the irreparable damage that has been done to my reputation  and to deter these companies from doing such future harm to others.”

According to Menphitz’ attorney Conti J. Moore, they are suing Monami Ent. for “approximately one dollar per viewer per show for damages that stem from the defamatory statements and denigrating actions of cast member Kimberly Michelle Pate p/k/a “K. Michelle”.  And I’m sure, that’s gonna be a lot.

Well, all I can say is that sooner or later people will learn to keep other people’s names out of their mouths before it comes back to bite them… Ya think?? Read the rest of this entry
