Although confirmed by her publicist Kristian Foster that the famous R&B singer passed away today, January 11, 2012 – we have yet to find out how and exactly where. Details are still sketchy.

What we do know is that we fans have lost a beautiful and influential voice in music…. And she will be very missed by family, friends, the entertainment industry, and many others.

For over a decade she wowed us with her beautiful voice, topping the R&B charts through the 80′s well into the 1990′s. “Saving all my love for You” was the song to bring her first grammy of many. She’s also well known for her controversial marriage to singer Bobby Brown, as well as acting in movies “Waiting to Exhale”, “The Preacher’s Wife” and “The BodyGuard. ”

Raised in the church, and daughter of gospel singer Cissy Houston, the talent she was blessed with prospered at an early age. Yet, towards the end of her life she was sadly getting to be more known for rumors of drug abuse.

Whitney was definitely one of my favorite singers. My heart breaks that she is gone so soon. RIP.

Well if I had to have made a bet, I would have thought that Beyonce and hubby Jay Z would have kept their child’s pics private for well into the spring atleast… But low and behold they have decided to release the first pics of baby Blue Ivy Carter all thanks to her own Tumblr acct simply named: “Hello Blue Ivy Carter”. -Isn’t this child a cutie pie?

I can see a bit of resemblance to her father Sean Carter but not enough to make you gasp ‘Oh No’ or ‘Bless her Heart’ Thankfully!!

HAhahahaha…. This post here has definitely brought me back from the dead when it comes to blogging. Yup, I’m still here – and evidently Martin Lawrence’s SheNaeNae and Jamie Foxx’s Wanda are still around as well.

Check out the new trailer for the upcoming film entitled, hold up and brace yourself for the “Skank Robbers.” LOL, That title alone has me shaking my head.

But, I have loved and also missed theses two characters, both from two of the most popular african american shows that were on FOX back in the ’90s. To tell you the truth, I can’t wait to see this one, because I need a good laugh.

Sad Sad news today as two african american legends have died.  First was news of Boxing Champ Joe Frazier and now word that legendary rapper Heavy D has died at the young age of 44.

Dwight Arrington Myers who was affectionately known as Heavy D was reportly rushed to a hospital in Los Angeles early this afternoon and later pronounced at 1pm.  He was still concious and talking when emergency personel responded to the 911 call at his home this morning… All this according to TMZ.

This will be an ongoing investigation of course, details are still sketchy.

I loved Heavy D for his music, personality, and mostly his positivity that he brought to Rap music.  He will surely be missed by all those in the music industry and especially his family, friends, and fans.

It was not surprising news to me when Conrad Murray, former doctor of pop icon Michael Jackson, was found guilty today, Monday November 7th of Involuntary Manslaugter after almost 3 full days of deliberations.

Now Murray faces up to four years in prison in connection with MJ’s death.  Jackson passed away on June 25, 2009 after recieving a Proprofol overdose which jurors found Murray at fault for.

With no prior record, I will not be surprised if Murray walks off with a shorter sentence or even probation, which could be very likely.

Fans who had packed the streets and sidewalks around the courthouse cheered when news of the verdict was announced.  Meanwhile, LaToya Jackson, sister of MJ cried out loud and had to be reminded to stay quiet inside the courtroom.

Some 20 year old woman named Mariah Yeater has filed a paternity suit against the pop star, claiming that he is the father of her 3 month old son.  Of course, she has already sold herself (and the baby) out by letting Star Mag cover the story.  How horny were the both of these kids when she claims that they got busy not in a hotel room, not in a home, but on a Staples Center bathroom shelve.  Very freaky (and unsanitary) if you ask me… lol.  I just wonder ,was it a men’s or women’s restroom???? * uncontrolable laughing*…

In a legal statement, sworn under penalty of perjury, Yeater told a California court that Bieber propositioned her on October 25 of last year, when she was 19 after his concert and at L.A.’s Staples Center.

According to U.S. website Radar Online, Yeater told a judge: “When I later realized I was pregnant with Justin Bieber’s baby, I tried to contact him through his representatives but no one ever called me back.”

She added: “On July 6, 2011, I gave birth to a baby boy. That was exactly 36 weeks and two days after the sexual encounter with Justin Bieber.” [read more]

I think that it is SO Brandy‘s time right now, and I for one am damn glad!!

She’s back on TV, she’s putting out a new album shortly, and now this news… that she joins the cast of Tyler Perry’s upcoming film The Marriage Counselor. I can’t wait to see how this movie will turn out. Hopefully it will be the best for her since she has had a rough last few years, don’t cha think?

But here’s something to ponder. Kim Kardashian is in the film as well. Will there be drama on the set perhaps? Or are things all good now and in the past? Hmm…………

This production (which is already in the works) is yet another play-turned-film for Perry. The line up also includes Lance Gross, Vanessa Williams and Jurnee Smollett.

Jurnee’s role  in the movie is of marriage counselor Judith, an Ivy League-educated woman who gives out marital advice for a living, but breaks her own rules when her own marriage gets a little bit boring. Lance portrays her husband, Brandy- Lance’s co-worker, and Robbie Jones plays the guy Judith cheats on her husband with. Kim Kardashian plays a friend of Judith while Vanessa Williams in the owner of the firm that she works for.

Sounds interesting enough right? I can’t wait to see Brandy BACK ON SCREEN! Hmm….

It’s all about Jill Scott and how she needs her…well, needs fulfilled in her newest video “So Gone (What My Mind Says).” She gets a suggestion from a friend to call a pleasure service called “Diamond Chip Dick.” Rapper Paul Wall is the gigalo that comes to Jill’s rescue and gets her sprung. lol…

Just when you thought  you’ve heard enough bull-ish about Kim Kardashian to keep to fullfilled for the rest of the year…. here’s another dose of the easy on the eyes but hard to swallow reality show pill.  The soon ex-Mrs. Humphries thought she needed to release an official statement to explain herself.  Because ummm yeah, everyone and their momma believes that they’ve been duped by her by this wedding all along.  And we are right, aren’t we?? It’s all about the money, the fame, the attention, the freebies, and oh… did I mention attention?

This is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. I see all of the support and I am so thankful for my fans, friends and family who are helping me through this difficult time.

I am trying not to read all the different media reports but it’s hard not to see all the negative ones. First and foremost, I married for love. I can’t believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show! I share so much of my life on a reality show, that contemplating whether to even film my wedding was a tough decision to make, and maybe it turned out to not be the smartest decision. But it’s who I am! We filmed Kourtney giving birth, Khloe getting married, break ups, make ups, our best moments and our worst moments. These were all real moments. That’s what makes us who we are. We share, we give, we love and we are open!

Everyone that knows me knows that I’m a hopeless romantic! I love with all of my heart and soul. I want a family and babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed in to something too soon. I believed in love and the dream of what I wanted so badly. I felt like I was on a fast roller coaster and couldn’t get off when now I know I probably should have. I got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show that when I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn’t know how to and didn’t want to disappoint a lot of people.

I’m being honest here and I hope you respect my courage because this isn’t easy to go through. But I do know that I have to follow my heart. I never had the intention of hurting anybody and I accept full responsibility for my actions and decisions, and for taking everyone on this journey with me. It just didn’t turn out to be the fairy tale I had so badly hoped for.

There are also reports that I made millions of dollars off of the wedding. These reports are simply not true and it makes me so sad to have to even clarify this. I’m so grateful to everyone who took the time to come to my wedding and I’ll be donating the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation.

I’m sorry if I have hurt anyone, but my dad always told me to follow my heart and I believe now that I really am.

Let’s forget about the fact that she certainly isn’t returning ALL those wedding gifts, lol. Lets pretend that those vows she took with that man 72 days ago just didn’t have any meaning behind them or that they dont hold any substance either. Hmm…. I’m so over this now. Now this letter above, perhaps written by a publicist, is supposed to make it all better?

Again now, how much courage did it take to give up on a marriage?? Ohh, that’s a lot.

OOOHHHH…. So now blacks are something to claim or hail as trophies??  Hmm.  Ann Coulter made this crazy comment on Sean Hannity’s show on FOX News in regards to conservative african american, republican hopeful presidential canidate Herman Cain and his recent sexual harrassment rumors that are going around.  Just when you think you heard it all out of this woman’s mouth, she just amazings me all the more. 

 I hope that Cain realizes that the end of the day… you still can’t just be a MAN nowadays, but you have to carry the label of what color you are no matter what you accomplish or acheive.  The clip above just shows that.

How was everyone’s Holloween?  So, I took my daughter trick or treating last night… it was kinda fun, but one thing threw me off.  Seeing big kids- lets say 14, 15, 16 and 17 years old, out hustling for candy as well.  And they didn’t even work hard at doing it.  I mean, they wore no costumes!!!  Just street clothes.  Now come on, is it really that serious?  Major #FAIL for those who gave anyone old enough for a job, candy last night.

Now as for the celebs, they surely came out to dress up for what some will say is Devil’s Night.  This below is what I would call the good, the bad, and the ugly of Holloween 2011.  Chris Brown left me lost for words, and I’m still wondering where is Ice T’s wife CoCo‘s outfit exactly.  I think it got lost in her cleavage.  Just check out the pics for yourself after the jump…

Who didn’t see this stuff coming?  I have probably never giggled so much in my life about something so ridiculous.  Kim Kardashian left her basketball hubby Kris Humphries for perhaps greener pastures… or perhaps greener wallets *cough*, as she announced she was spliting with him after a short 2 1/2 month marriage.  So much for that fairytell 10 million dollar wedding that just took place 72 days ago, I’m sure everyone involved in that debacle besides the Kardashian family feels cheated and lied to right about now.

That’s what greed will do to ya, but what do I always preach here on NoirGossip – Marry for love, and nothing else if you want it to mean something.  So, I had to take a forced vacation for the last week and a half and this story alone has urged me to come back.  Fighting off the laughter as I just want to scream “I knew it wouldn’t last”, I’d love to hear what you guys think of Kim and her little news of irreconsilable differences that Kris claims he was blindsided about.  The developing story according to the folks over at TMZ is that all started to go downhill after Kris wanted to move back to Minnisota and his wife just refused to do so, yada yada yada.  But eh, I thought marriage was all about compromise as well.  Perhaps I’m wrong.

My opinion… all staged.  Just watch Kim’s show on E! and at the end of the season perhaps we will all see Kris chasing down his woman for all that it’s worth to save this ever- so- short relationship.  One thing is for certain: she knows how to kick a brother well while he is down.  Ponzy-schemes, lock outs, and now this?  lol…

Hmm!!! Everytime I would dig through my dvds and decide to watch Hustle & Flow because there just wasn’t anything better on TV to check out, I’d in the back of my mind wonder how Ms. Taraji P. Henson would sound singing a whole song. Never heard it. Then, I was super excited to hear rumors of how she was the perfect fit to play R&B legend Tami Terrell. Seems that I nor you will have to wait much longer to check out this actress’ talents on the mic.

She told the Juice:
