I’ve heard of wierder things, but…

Come to find out, RHOA’s Porsha Stewart allegedly found out about her husband filing for divorce through gossip blogs, according to her publicist’s  statement and a unnamed source who spoke with US Weekly.

On March 22nd, when Kordell Stewart filed for divorce, the news spread quickly to those associated with the media and on the internet. This sad update on her own life supposedly “blindsided” Porsha, as she thought that they were still working on their relationship together.

“She was 100 percent completely blindsided. Friends are trying to contact her but she’s not picking up her phone or returning texts” the US Weekly source is quoted as saying. Read the rest of this entry

So here is some new music from rapper Ludacris, featuring Kelly Rowland.  It’s called, “Representin” and it comes off of Ludaversal which is the rappers 8th studio album.  In the featured video for the song, I love Kelly’s look – it’s obvious that she is such a pretty young lady.

As I’m sure all you guys may have heard and seen, October 2012 Superstorm and Hurricane Sandy gave the east coast of the United States a brutal beating yesterday. Prayers and well wishes go out to all those who were somehow affected by the storm from NoirGossip.com.  According to CNN, I’ve heard that atleast 16 people were killed and there are over 7 million without electricity right now. Sandy was definitely an epic storm that will not easily be forgotten by Americans.

Check out this crazy video:     A young African American male who has absolutely NO respect for adults, elders and authority.  Where is the bus driving uppercut giving man when you need him?  And what’s even more troubling, are the two young ladies who did nothing but giggle at the whole situation.  Where is the respect?  I guess it flew right out of the window!

This just makes me realize… Do you 70′s and 80′s babies remember the big crack epidemic of the 90′s?  On magazine covers and nightly news segments, we would forever be reminded and traumatized with the faces of drug addicted black mothers giving birth to premature infants going through withdrawl even before they were a day old.  Some people said it could be harder for them to live independently in society, with all of the mental and physical disablities that they could wind up developing from the drug use.  Well ya’ll, guess what, the way that these people are acting these days on these streets, makes me assume that these can only be the same crack-babies all grown up now.

What’s happening to african american communities?  Where is the unity that was so prevalent 40 years ago?  Nobody should have to be subjected to loud and obnoxious behavior just because your riding public transportation.  These kids are getting out of control to say the least.  Nonetheless, I think the grown man in the situation took things too far as well.   My grandfather always told me, you can’t win an argument with an idiot.  Instead of being the bigger person, he got dragged into yelling and cursing and ended up just as much as an embarrassment.

Remember the atrocity of the awkward twitter photo of Wyclef Jean in his speedos, posing on his brand new red white & blue Ducati, which I guess was a gift to himself for his 43rd birthday this past October 17th?

All I wanted to know at the time was why was he extremely greasy from the waist up, but then looked as if he hasn’t touched lotion since ’84 from the waist down.  The second thing I was wondering was if that bike was paid for with embezzled money from the Haiti funds he had raised years before… *cough*

It’s simple… MONEY.

When it came down for Jay Z and Beyonce to have a baby, I wonder how soon it came into their minds, the concept of making her name pay off for the both of them.  Think about it, various advertisements, children’s fashion lines, baby furniture, toy dolls, etc all with the Blue Ivy trademark all over them – can we say, cha ching?!   Not only that, but making it all legal would eliminate the possibility of any other person gaining anything out of using their little girls name. It all probably would have been a success, if not for one little thing.

According to the Boston Herald, a Massachusetts company owned by Veronica Alexandra which has been using the name Blue Ivy since 2009 has won the trademark rights after a 9 month wait.  And although it might have seemed a messy situation at the time, Alexandra still has major respect for Blue Ivy’s Carter’s parents and what the unique name has done for her already as well, saying in a statement:

“I can’t be frustrated with something I think is going to bring me to produce and define my brand even more, which is financially exciting in itself and intellectually exciting as well,” she said. “It’s like they caused me to create more opportunity for myself.”
