Ever since the YouTube video showing gay Kappa members - Nathaniel Gay and Robert Brown exchanging vows, came out on several blogs earlier this week, all I’ve heard is the spread of controversy wildfire online, on radio AND on TV.  Are we not used to seeing gay men with PDA?  Or is this just an ongoing issue within the black community?  HELLO, This is America…. soooo like it or not, I think you might as well get used to it because unless we adopt the policies of lets say, Iran, I doubt things will be changing anytime soon.

You know what, I thought this particular rapper was FAR better than this… You never know IF and WHEN you will get pulled over and caught up by the police as a celebrity, so why take that chance?

Nelly is probably counting his lucky stars right now after his tour bus was pulled over by Border Patrol Police in Sierra Blanca, Texas last night.

According to TMZ, during the search of the tour bus, 10+ pounds of marajuina, some heroin (36 baggies/.64 ounces), and a loaded .45 pistol was discovered after a police dog first gave the alert of possible drugs.

According to law enforcement sources, one of the passengers — a guy named Brian Keith Jones — admitted the drugs and the gun were his. He was subsequently placed under arrest.

Nelly and the remaining five were let go. Calls to Nelly’s reps were not returned.

FYI — this is the same checkpoint where multitudes of celebs have been busted for drugs in recent years … including Willie Nelson, Armie Hammer, Snoop Dogg, and Fiona Apple. [read more]

Well it seems very official, Chris Brown released a statement announcing his split with girlfriend Karrueshe Tran, whom he rebounded with soon after his relationship first ended with pop singer Rihanna.

I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.

It probably came right on time as last weekend Chris was spotted visiting Rihanna’s hotel on this past Monday night anyway. I always thought these two would hook back up together, but I can’t help but snicker at the excuse of “friendship” with Rihanna. Really, Chris?? Let me just get back to playing “She Ain’t You” on my Ipod.

But then that’s not all…  Yesterday, Chris released video footage – a documentary sort-to-speak, of his womanly dilemma.  “Is there a such thing as loving two people?” He wonders to himself.

Is there such thing as loving two people?  I don’t know if that’s possible  but for me, I feel like that.  Y’all probably like, What the f**k is he talking  about right now but I am being real. I don’t want to hurt either or.  I’m  not trying to be a player, or a dog, not none of that. My mother raised me  differently, so I just can’t. I don’t know man, a n***a be stressing.

Check out the video for yourselves after the break…  Soon after the video was posted though, a surprised Karrueshe took to Twitter asking “WTF is going on?” and then “Life moves on … So let’s all.”  Meanwhile, Rihanna seemed more upbeat, hinting on her own Twitter page that what’s going on “Aint nobody bidness but me and my baby.”

In the end, I really have some sympathy for Karrueshe. I mean, did she really think it was over between Chris & Rih? I knew in my gut that it was over for K’ the very moment I watched Rihanna’s interview with Oprah, basically still professing her love for the man. Hmm, while all the time Chris was probably filling his girlfriend’s head with false hopes and lost promises, until he saw that very same interview too… I’ll tell you one thing, Karrueshe was right to have tweeted, if nothing else at all, that “You don’t mess with people’s genuine feelings. You just don’t.”

One third of the 90′s music sensation TLC will soon be having her own reality show on the cable network, ironically TLC, early next year.  T-Boz,  mother of one and ex-wife of rapper Mack 10 who has battled with Sickle Cell Anemia all of her life as well as a life threatening brain tumor a few years ago, will surely benefit from this new venture as she filed for bankruptcy just recently, in 2011.

According to TMZ:

We’re told the show will focus on the 42-year-old single mom as she tries to  re-launch her music career … after recovering from the life-threatening brain  tumor she was diagnosed with in 2006.

The brain tumor was so bad, once  it was removed, T-Boz had to relearn how to walk and talk.

We’re told,  the show will star her daughter, brother, cousins and friends … and is currently filming in Atlanta.

Let me be honest… Samuel L. Jackson is one of my favorite actors.  Why?  Because I can imagine him as that crazy uncle who I loved to hear curse with every other word, vuglar but eloquent in speaking the truth and telling things like it is.  He’s probably the only brotha that gets the profanity pass with me.  And I’m sure he doesn’t actually have the potty mouth, but for most of his characters he has portrayed in film - they are very colorful – to say the least- in their language.

So, it’s no biggie to see Big Sam expressing this years presidental election in the same kind of way.  Some people may take the video below as offensive, but this has been a very cut throat compitition.  I’m not mad.

The clip is basically a four minute adult themed children’s story, from the Jewish Council for Education & Research, made to energize democratic voters into getting out, canvassing and registering others.  Check it out after the jump and let me know if the video was a good idea or not?
