Well it seems very official, Chris Brown released a statement announcing his split with girlfriend Karrueshe Tran, whom he rebounded with soon after his relationship first ended with pop singer Rihanna.

I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.

It probably came right on time as last weekend Chris was spotted visiting Rihanna’s hotel on this past Monday night anyway. I always thought these two would hook back up together, but I can’t help but snicker at the excuse of “friendship” with Rihanna. Really, Chris?? Let me just get back to playing “She Ain’t You” on my Ipod.

But then that’s not all…  Yesterday, Chris released video footage – a documentary sort-to-speak, of his womanly dilemma.  “Is there a such thing as loving two people?” He wonders to himself.

Is there such thing as loving two people?  I don’t know if that’s possible  but for me, I feel like that.  Y’all probably like, What the f**k is he talking  about right now but I am being real. I don’t want to hurt either or.  I’m  not trying to be a player, or a dog, not none of that. My mother raised me  differently, so I just can’t. I don’t know man, a n***a be stressing.

Check out the video for yourselves after the break…  Soon after the video was posted though, a surprised Karrueshe took to Twitter asking “WTF is going on?” and then “Life moves on … So let’s all.”  Meanwhile, Rihanna seemed more upbeat, hinting on her own Twitter page that what’s going on “Aint nobody bidness but me and my baby.”

In the end, I really have some sympathy for Karrueshe. I mean, did she really think it was over between Chris & Rih? I knew in my gut that it was over for K’ the very moment I watched Rihanna’s interview with Oprah, basically still professing her love for the man. Hmm, while all the time Chris was probably filling his girlfriend’s head with false hopes and lost promises, until he saw that very same interview too… I’ll tell you one thing, Karrueshe was right to have tweeted, if nothing else at all, that “You don’t mess with people’s genuine feelings. You just don’t.”

Rihanna will never get past the pain of what happened to her and Chris Brown if people keep bringing it up in interviews… Three years after the infamous domestic violence incident between she and her ex-boyfriend, RiRi speaks about it again with an one on one sit down with Oprah for the show Oprah’s Next Chapter, which is to air this coming Sunday the 19th on OWN.

Rihanna shared:

“I felt like the only person they hate right now is him. Who’s gonna help him? Nobody’s gonna say he needs help. Everybody’s gonna say he’s a monster without looking at the source. I was more concerned about him.”

Rihanna decided to take creativity to another level when she wore a trench coat as a dress.  Now, I have to admit, back in the day, my crazy self would have perhaps tried the same thing.  Now, not so much… lol.

When I first thought of someone in a long coat, with nothing underneath, I’d imagine that pervert who flashes at every woman (or man) that he sees.  Now all I’ll be able to think of is how Rihanna pulled this number off.  Enough so for me to say to myself  “hmm, not bad.”

Ronald Fenty has alot to say when it comes to his daughter singer Rihanna… He of course was the one who pushed her to get back in shape. He thought she was fat, for a while. I can’t see that but eh, who am I to judge. Daddy Dearest also has some positive things to say now when it comes to  entertainer Chris Brown, her ex-boyfriend that socked her in the eye back in 2009. For the most part, let by gones be by gones…everyone makes mistakes.

Fenty told Heat Magazine that “”Chris is a nice guy and everybody’s entitled to make mistakes in their life. God knows how many I’ve made.” And when questioned about the music the two had made together, “She’s her own woman now.”

And that’s not all…Just last year, when he saw his daughter in August before the Grammy awards, he thought she was looking a little on the heavy side and needed to hear that fatherly advice that she had to lose some wieght. He mentioned,

“I actually thought she was a little fat the last time I saw her,” he said. “When I saw her at this year’s Grammys, I thought she was back to her normal size. I used to joke with her, ‘Robyn,you’re getting too fat.’ But I think she’s fine. I think she looked excellent, as everyone saw, at the Grammys. She’s dieting, she’s working out.”

Well fathers can be fathers and they aren’t always perfect too I suppose.  But check out this pic of RiRi from last year in August while in Barbados….does she seem fat to you? Daddy, please get your eyes checked, lol.
