Remember last week when I posted on Chris Brown going to court and requesting that an restraining order against him stemming from the Rihanna assult case, be dropped?

Well, he may get his wish, sort of.  Atleast this is a start.  According to E!Online,

Rihanna has requested that the order be dropped to a level one—meaning that they can have contact as long as Brown doesn’t annoy, molest or harass her—and Brown attorney Mark Geragos has been informed of her approval, Geragos still needs to go to court to have the order officially modified by a judge.

As of right now, Chris and Rihanna  both scheduled to attend NBA All Star festivities in LA going down next weekend.  If the modification is in effect by then, this will be the first in a long time that they are able to have some kind of contact, if they wanted to.  I believe this is a good thing.  Maybe both parties can completely heal and move forward from here.

Chris Brown was in an LA courtroom friday for a progress report and to ask for the current restraining order against him to be lifted.   Brown has already completed 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling and requested removal of the 100 yards order to be removed in time for upcoming award shows.
