R&B singer Usher Raymond, will soon be working along side veteran actor Robert Deniro, Michelle Rodriguez and Gael Garcia in the upcoming film ‘Hands of Stone’, which will focus on the five time world boxing champ Roberto Duran.  Usher will be portraying boxer Sugar Ray Leonard in the movie.

About the role, Usher shared with UK’s Independent in a recent interview that: “I don’t know if this is the one that would win me an Oscar or not. I’m going into it offering my interpretation and my hard work and my dedication to be the best Sugar Ray ever. Or as good as the man can be. I’ve spoken to him, and I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to live up to him. But I’ll try to be better than him.”

Well, nothing’s better than a little positivity, eh?  I’ve never been a big fan of Mr. Raymond’s acting skills so I think he’s gonna need it.  Really, really need it. Oh, I’m not hating though ;)
